The festival of Diwali, or Deepavali as it is referred to in some regions, is a religious and cultural holiday that signifies the triumph of good over evil and the triumph of knowledge over ignorance. It is celebrated by many everywhere and is a time where friends, families, and communities come together to enjoy life’s simple gifts and partake in rituals and festivities such as the lighting of lamps (known as diyas) and the launching of fireworks.

The Gentlemen of Beta Chi Theta are excited to present their 2nd Annual Charity Basketball Tournament. This Tournament will be held on October 24th.  At Purdue University we pride ourselves on our Service to Humanity, working with Columbian Park Zoo, Indiana Veterans, Salvation Army, Boiler Volunteer Network, and many more! This year we are combining our pillars of Service to Humanity and South Asian Awareness by giving back to the children of World Vision India.
